We the undersigned do hereby petition the Peoria City Council to rename Hamilton Blvd to "Willie York" Blvd.
Whereas Willie York has contributed more to Peoria's distinctive flavor than Alexander Hamilton ever did.
And Whereas there are currently no edifices or landmarks to honor one of Peoria's favorite sons.
We hearby request that Mr. William York be given his due - and honored with a Willie York Blvd.
